Terms

These terms are a template for your QID Secure deployment. Adapt them to your organisation's contracting and compliance requirements before production.

Use of the platform

QID Secure is provided to registered organisations for visitor registration, approval and gate verification at their sites. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you collect and for complying with applicable privacy and security law.

Accounts and access

Administrators are responsible for assigning roles, removing departed users and keeping credentials secure. Access is role-based and every decision is audited. Do not share accounts between people.

Acceptable use

  • Do not capture identity data without a lawful basis and a clear operational purpose.
  • Do not attempt to bypass approval, masking or retention controls.
  • Do not use the platform to track people beyond the visitor-management purpose.

Availability

On-prem deployments depend on your local hardware, network and power. Cloud deployments depend on the hosting provider. Backups, monitoring and restore testing are part of your deployment responsibility.

Liability

The platform is provided as-is under the applicable licence or contract. It does not replace your security procedures, guards or legal obligations. Confirm the applicable terms with your supplier before go-live.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the platform evolves. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
